And just like your car needs regular maintenance, so does your furnace. A tune-up before winter can prevent expensive repairs, save energy and extend the lifespan of heating systems. New Mexico Gas Company rebates help you save on both. ## How to get your rebate 1 **Step 1** Find a participating contractor through our [online tool](https://customer.efficiencynavigator.com/FindContractor?clientId=86). 2 **Step 2** Work with them to complete the project. 3 **Step 3** You or your contractor then submits your application.
