You can find some of the largest opportunities to save energy in your attic, walls, doors and windows. By installing proper insulation and sealing up any draft-prone areas, you can help keep your comfort up, energy use down and keep money from literally blowing away.
How to get your rebate
Step 1
Find a participating contractor through our online tool.
Step 2
Work with them to complete the project.
Step 3
You or your contractor then submits your application.
In 6-8 weeks, either you or your contractor will receive the rebate, as requested in the rebate application.
Customer eligibility
Customers who have space gas heating and receive residential natural gas service from New Mexico Gas Company, as evidenced by their residential customer account number, are eligible.
Product eligibility
Installed equipment must be new (rebates are not offered for used or refurbished products) and must follow the specifications listed in the rebate application. Air and duct sealing requires a pre- and post-blower test. Insulation must have a rating, as specified in the rebate application to be eligible. Attic, roof and crawl space insulation rebates may not exceed 40% of the total project cost, excluding tax.
